UC Dialogue Fellows Program
A fellowship supporting UC faculty and staff in the teaching of dialogue skills — building a systemwide culture of thoughtful, constructive conversation.
About the program
UC Office of the President — Graduate and Undergraduate, Equity Affairs and Institutional Research and Academic Planning — and the UC National Center for Free Speech and Civic Engagement have joined together to sponsor a fellowship program for UC faculty and policy-covered staff designed to enhance and expand the teaching of dialogue skills to UC students.
Through $5,000 grants, the fellowship supports projects that teach dialogue skills in curricular settings or strengthen the capacity of faculty and instructors to teach these skills. The program prioritizes projects that enhance individual teaching practice and that produce adaptable, shareable resources for use across UC.
